Painted in background in a grey with violet undertones.  The flash from my camera is reflecting off the wet paint so colors are not true on this photo.  Painted over a fig on the left that looked to me like it was crawling up the pitcher.  Deepened the color in the half fig in the foreground.  Always adding to bounced/reflected lights and color.  Next will need to decide on the color, value and texture of the foreground.
